Family Details Hugues is a curious boy who enjoys playing soccer. He lives with his parents and younger sister. His parents are very poor and are genocide survivors. His mom is currently fighting breast cancer, having had five operations. Hugues' parents work at cultivating for others, as do many other parents in the area. These jobs are scarce, and even when they are able to work, the money is not enough for the family to survive, let alone provide for basic needs such as food, clothing, or education.
