Child Sponsorship is the core element of our ministry!
Sponsoring a child is the most immediate, personal and direct way to impact the future of a child and their family. Your monthly gift brings essentials like nutrition, education, and MORE to your sponsored child. This in turn, helps to break the cycle of poverty and bring HOPE to your child as well as the community!
Child Sponsorship also allows you to interact with and build a relationship with your child through letters, videos and photos. You can even come and meet your child in person! We welcome several teams to Rwanda each year.
Every Child Sponsorship includes:
- School enrollment fees, uniform, and school supplies
- Breakfast and lunch at school
- Medical insurance
- Bible lessons and discipleship
- After-school activities such as Rwandan dance & song and football

Hope for Children Ministries is deliberate to include parents in the sponsorship program, especially as it relates to their child attending Hope For Children International School, an essential and important opportunity for every sponsored child.
The Rwandan government does not require that children attend school, and in order for children to attend the overcrowded, government-sponsored schools they must have a school uniform, shoes and school supplies. That’s often an unreachable requirement for a majority of children. That’s why we built a school!
