Family Details Honoline lives with both parents and her little sister. Her parents are genocide survivors and during 1994 genocide against Tutsi they lost many relatives. Her family is very poor and her father is disabled due to injuries sustained to his back during genocide. Honoline's parents works at cultivating for others, as do many other parents in the area. These jobs are scarce, and even when they are able to work, the money is not enough for the family to survive, let alone provide for basic needs such as food, clothing, or education.

She is fully sponsored and now has new opportunities to learn and grow physically, mentally and spiritually.
